Adding Harvest and Pack times in Harvests

If the 'Keep track of task times' is enabled you will be able to view and edit a task's Planned Minutes and Actual Minutes.

* 'Keep track of task times' is disabled by default

'Planned Minutes' is an estimate of the number of minutes a would task.

'Actual Minutes' is the total number of minutes the task took.


To enable time tracking for your Account:

  1. You need to be logged in as the Account owner to enable time tracking
  2. Click the initials dropdown in the top right 
  3. Click on 'Farm Details'
  4. Select the 'Keep track of Task, Harvest & Pack times?' toggle
  5. Click 'Save'

To add Planned Minutes to Harvests & Packs:

  1. Go to the Units page in the More (...) menu on the right of the navbar
  2. Click on the Unit you would like to add the time to
  3. If you don't have any Units yet, add one and save it
  4. Enter 'Harvest min/unit' and/or 'Pack min/unit'.  You will probably want to take advantage of decimals here
  5. Click 'Save'

Actual Minutes can be recorded for each Harvests & Packs: 

  1. Go to the Current or All tabs on the Harvests page in the nav bar
  2. Find the Harvest & Pack that you would like to record a time for
  3. Click on the ... More icon at the far right of that row
  4. Complete the 'Actual Minutes' field
  5. Click 'Save'

Notes:

Planned & Actual Minutes can also be seen when clicking the Calculator icon on any Current or All tab for Tasks or Harvests Page. The Calculator will give you the average and total minutes across the filtered tasks. These can be really helpful for seeing how much is on the plate for the day, week, or even across your whole Season.
